Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate's ultimate feature, JoJo PS3 game gets part 3

Video explains it all. :)

On the other hand, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure : All Stars Battle LEAGUE part 3 is out.

As of next week, I will be away for about a month. With Dragon's Crown and D&D releasing early next month, I will not be able to play them until I get back :(

However, when I do get back it will be a month filled with amazing adventures with the two games! Co-op experience is the only aspect I will be focusing on and thus please look forward to my post on the technical aspects of  co-op modes in both Dragon's Crown and D&D.

Jessica Nigri playing as gigolo and killer in Killer Is Dead, part 2

If you missed part one, you can watch it here.

Jessica Nigri takes on the second girl. During gigolo missions, the player gains points by checking out the girl without the girl realizing it. The player will also have the option to choose an item to be gifted to the girl. I am guessing the number of points scored through gifting varies with the choice of the gift. Gigolo glasses (comes with Collector Edition) can be put on to score more points but that is not the main attraction of it. The following screenshots are self-explanatory :)

If you succeed, a sexy time scene will follow.

A few things as speculated in the trailer about the combat:

1) When a dodge is successful, you can hit the square button to punish the opponent with a series of quick slashes

2) If an opponent is stunned, you can hit the triangle button to pound your opponent with your robotic arm.

3) A 1-hit-kill move can be unleashed provided you have enough charge in the power gauge (not too sure about this one)

4) Upon completing a challenge, you can have sexy time with the girl who watches over the arena.

Lastly, it seems that the game is not running at 60fps which is somewhat disappointing.

ULTRA Street Fighter 4

Capcom will be releasing a newer version of Street Fighter 4. Four new characters are confirmed.

Hugo
Poison
Elena
Rolento
???  (According to a few sources, one fighter is left unannounced)

Would love to main Poison. Seeing the trailer somewhat makes me feel that Capcom is just taking the characters from Street Fighter X Tekken and throwing them into Ultra Street Fighter 4. It would be great if the final game includes more than just that but I wouldn't hold my breath.

Dragon's Crown updates

A new trailer has been released by Atlus. Game is looking extremely good. The trailer reveals PvP mode, weapon/armor cuztomization, character colors, item making (cooking?), 4 players co-op for both PSVita and PlayStation3 versions (Playstation3 version supports both local and online drop in/out, in-game NPCs and most importantly...

Jesus, that fall animation is sexy. Honestly, the sorceress might be the only reason I am buying this game.

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure : All Stars Battle LEAGUE has begun!

Namco Bandai Games has released the second part of the league 2 hours ago. The league is basically a showdown between characters of the upcoming JoJo PlayStation3 fighting game. As to further promote the game, NBGI created a league to showcase skills or move sets of each character. The game will be released on the 29th of August 2013 and there are no plans for localization at the moment. Only Japanese and Asian versions are announced. Being so close to the release date, I highly doubt NBGI will announce an English version anytime from now until the 29th of August 2013.

I can assure that fans of the JoJo manga series will definitely grab this game DAY ONE. Why? Because JoJo is THAT awesome. Being a fan myself, I can't stress how amazing the manga series has progressed. I will not go into details about the manga for the reason I might get too excited and spoil the story! Anime/Manga watching gamers who are not familiar with JoJo should give it a go. Further, if you get hooked to the manga (which you mostly likely will), please consider purchasing the upcoming JoJo PS3 figthing game! I know there is zero English content and menus/dialogues are definitely in Japanese but hear me out. As this is a fighting game, it will be easier to learn compared to playing RPGs in full Japanese. Despite not knowing Japanese, I will post a simple guide on the mechanics of the game when the game is out.

Back to the topic, take note that the characters shown in the league videos are controlled by AIs.
You can view the first part right here.
The second part right here.

I highly recommend not watching these videos if you are planning to get into the manga/anime as these videos contain spoilers

On a random note, the PS3 game's boxart is lovely!

"I quit DotA" - a phrase you probably heard many times from the same person

DotA aka Defense of the Ancients started as a Warcraft III custom map. Modern gamers label DotA as MOBA - Multiplayer Online Battle Arena. Back then, there was no such genre for games like DotA. It's been 8 years since my first match and..

Exaggerated but you know it's true. Despite saying that you are quitting, you always find yourself back in the game the next freaking day! It's that addictive! More so when you are playing with a group of friends! From my experience, the times when you tell yourself that you're quitting are when you lost a game and got insulted pretty badly by your opponents or when you had a serious argument with your friends about-

Looking back at my past experience with DotA, I can't help but laugh at my silliness. I did get into arguments with my friends back then and I am glad we did not let such arguments break our friendship.Even now, I am still playing with the same old group but we've moved on to DotA 2 instead.
It was truly an exciting and emotional(lol) journey.

And lastly,

Have a great day!
